An Abundance of Extra Milk

I am a 27-year-old first time mom who stayed very active during my pregnancy with my son. When he was born I was unable to nurse due to a spinal headache so I resorted to exclusively pumping. I have been able to pump enough milk to meet all of his needs, plus some. I am currently freezing about 72 ounces a day, and using our frozen milk for him. He is getting ready to switch over to baby food so we are going to have a lot of extra milk. I am able to pump at work during the days, so my supply has not decreased since going back to work.

I have remained very active after the birth of my son and am very aware of my diet. The only medication that I am taking currently is a prenatal vitamin, per recommendation of my doctor. I do not smoke or use any other sort of drug.

My son has met all developmental milestones and has only had one cold since he was born that lasted only a couple days.
