Description

ABOUT ME:
I am a first time mom with a happy, healthy and alert 4 month old baby girl. I live in Brooklyn and work as a family therapist. My baby is currently exclusively breastfed. I have an oversupply of milk and I’d love to sell it to a mother or caregiver in need of breastmilk. We do not have space in our freezer, and I can’t throw away all of this “liquid gold”!
SUPPLY:
Currently I have appx 400+ oz of milk frozen and organized based on date that it was pumped. I have strictly adhered to breastmilk safety guidelines, (ie. never kept milk in the fridge for longer than 3 days, always kept in back of fridge, used proper sterilization of bottle/pump parts, etc.)
DIET/LIFESTYLE:
I eat a clean and balanced diet. I mostly cook at home, and I buy mostly organic meats and produce (mostly veggies/lean proteins/grass-fed beef, pasture raised chickens, wild fish, etc.) I eat full fat dairy products or nut based yogurts/milks. I rarely eat refined and processed foods. I do not smoke. Occasionally, I will have 1 glass of wine only when I know that I won’t be feeding/pumping for at least 2 hours after consumption. I drink filtered water. As for vitamins/medications: I take Pure Encapsulation pre/post natal vitamins, Garden of Life Probiotics, Vitamin D, and Sunflower Lecithin daily. I also take a low dose of an SSRI which my doctor has deemed safe for breastfeeding. I made the choice to take this only because I felt confident that it is safe for my baby.
I would be happy to discuss any of this over the phone to make you feel more comfortable with choosing me as your breastmilk donor!
