Description

I’ve been freezing about 30 oz. a day since the beginning of May. All of the milk was frozen within minutes of pumping to maintain the maximum amount of nutrients.

I have the milk separated in milk bags, each containing approximately 6 oz. All bags are labeled with the date and time that the milk was pumped.

I am a healthy person with a healthy lifestyle. I eat a variety of fruits, vegetables, and meats – as well as take prenatal vitamins every day. I am a healthy body weight, exercise regularly, and have only eaten whole foods since beginning breast feeding. I do not drink, smoke, or consume any artificial sweeteners or additives. I also do not have any underlying health problems (and have gone through extensive testing, including genetic testing, to check for anything – fortunately I have a clean bill of health in all regards).

I’ve also taken extra steps to ensure the quality of each bag of milk. When breast milk is pumped, there is fore milk (which comes out first, and has a lower fat content), and hind milk (which comes out after the fore milk, and has substantially more milk fat). I take the time to ensure this milk is combined before bagging, so that each bag of milk has the milk fat & nutrients representative of what a baby receives when they’re naturally breast feeding (as normally you will only produce what the baby eats, so the baby will end up consuming both fore and hind milk). In other words, each bag of milk contains the full range of nutrients that a baby would naturally consume when breast feeding.

I mention the collection process because I know for certain some people just bag as they pump, instead of fully expressing the fore and hind milk first, combining, and then bagging. This leads to inconsistent milk bags, where some bags are watery and some are fatty. I personally wanted to ensure each bag has a natural amount of nutrients, so that if I ended up needing the milk, I could feel confident that my baby is getting what they need from each bag.

All of the pumping equipment is cleaned with scent-free organic baby bottle soap between each use, and sterilized twice using distilled water and the best sterilizer on the market before use. All milk bags were pre-sterilized, and BPA/BPS free. We bought a deep freezer for storage, even though we had a separate fridge freezer we could have used, because the nutrients are preserved better with deep freezer. Additionally, prior to birth I consulted with a nutritionist and lactation consultant to ensure I’m consuming the best foods to ensure the best quality of milk possible.

I say all this to illustrate that I cared deeply about the quality of this milk. From my dietary decisions, to my health & lifestyle choices, to the milk collection and storage process.

My daughter is very healthy. Perfect weight for her age. Hitting all physical and cognitive developmental milestones early (sometimes shockingly early, like crawling at 4 months). She’s extremely strong for her age (I’m a former figure skater, and I can definitely see It in her future lol). She also has yet to be sick, despite being in a household with other children that have been sick.

It appears most sellers on here are selling for $2-3 per oz.

I’ll do $2 per oz. for any quantity over 1000 oz. and $3 per oz. for anything less than 1000 oz.

Also, in the off chance someone local wants to buy, I’ll take 50 cents off per oz. for local pickup.
